SUMMARY:Field Trip: Mister C Live!
DESCRIPTION:Details: \n\n\n\nAre you ready for some toe-tapping music\, mind-blowing media and hair-raising science? Join Mister C for an amazing day of learning in the lab including pendulum swings\, inertia hammers\, and hovercrafts. As a former educator and administrator for 20+ years\, Mister C (ED.S) is no stranger to finding exciting and engaging ways to explore STEAM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art\, and Math) in our everyday lives. Students and teachers will be amazed with this fun and educational series as Mister C uses humor\, media and the engineering design process to make the ordinary extraordinary. \n\n\n\nCurriculum Connections: Newton’s Laws (Inertia\, Acceleration\, Action/Reaction)\, Motion\, Stability\, Mass of the Body\, Interacting Forces\, Velocity\, Safe Science\, STEAM\, Music\, Creativity\, Communication\, Media and Engineering Design processes \n\n\n\nThis production is recommended for students in grades 4-8\, although other ages are welcome. \n\n\n\nA student must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend this production.  Families are asked to arrive by 10:00am to check in\, the show will start PROMPTLY at 10:30am. Our entire group must be present before we can be seated. It is important that families try to be punctual for the sake of the group. The show has a running time of 60 minutes. No food or drink is allowed in the theater for this show\, this includes gum. \n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\nTPAC’s James K. Polk Theater \n\n\n\nTicket Information: \n\n\n\nAll attendees\, regardless of age must have a ticket to attend.  Tickets available until 5 pm on September 29\, 2026\, unless they sell out sooner. This trip requires a minimum in order to proceed. \n\n\n\nHealth & Safety Policy Regulations: \n\n\n\nIf you or a family member has been sick 2 days prior to the field trip or is currently sick\, please do not attend this field trip.  Please help us keep the entire group healthy by adhering to these rules. \n\n\n\nRules & Regulations: \n\n\n\nEach individual attending this trip/event must have a ticket purchased directly from Nashville Homeschool Calendar by the ticket purchase deadline. If tickets are not secured through Nashville Homeschool Calendar by such deadline\, individuals will not be permitted to participate in the trip/event. Walk-ins or individuals who purchase tickets outside of Nashville Homeschool Calendar (contacting the venue directly) will not be accepted as part of the group. \n\n\n\nNo refunds after August 20\, 2026. It is your responsibility to find someone to take your place if you can no longer come or you will forfeit your tickets. Admin fees are non-refundable. \n\n\n\nBookings open immediately to all members.
