SUMMARY:Special Event: Jersey Boys
DESCRIPTION:Details: \n\n\n\nThe original Broadway sensation returns to the road! Celebrating 20 years – Jersey style! \n\n\n\nThey were just four guys from Jersey\, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage\, off stage it was a very different story — a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. The show features all their hits including “Sherry\,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry\,” “Oh What a Night\,” “Walk Like a Man\,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You\,” “Beggin’” and “Working My Way Back to You.”  \n\n\n\nGo behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the Tony Award®-winning\, original Broadway sensation\, JERSEY BOYS.  From the streets of New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame\, this is the musical that’s too good to be true. \n\n\n\nThis performance will be taking place in the Andrew Jackson Hall at TPAC.  Our group has been granted a student group discounted rate for this performance. There are two ticket options available. Ticket A is located in the middle Tier for $56 per ticket. Ticket B is located in the middle/rear Tier for $40 per ticket. This group pricing discount will save you money versus purchasing individually through the box office. This production is scheduled to begin at 1 pm. \n\n\n\nTickets must be picked up from Will Call/Box Office with a photo I.D. ideally no later than 30 minutes before the show starts. This is a special event which means we do not meet as a group. However\, our group seats will be located in close proximity to one another. Each family that purchases tickets will indeed have seats next to each other. If multiple families are going together\, it is important that you notify Jennifer that you want tickets next to each other. \n\n\n\nPlease note: Do your own research before determining if this show is suitable for your kids\, each family is different. \n\n\n\nRSVP and payment for guaranteed seats are due by 5 pm on July 13\, 2026\, unless they sell out sooner. \n\n\n\nTickets may be able to be secured after the due date only if seats are still available. Contact Jennifer after the due date so she can check directly with the venue. This trip requires a minimum to proceed. \n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\nTennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) \n\n\n\nRules & Regulations: \n\n\n\nEach individual attending this trip/event must have a ticket purchased directly from Nashville Homeschool Calendar by the ticket purchase deadline. If tickets are not secured through Nashville Homeschool Calendar by such deadline\, individuals will not be permitted to participate in the trip/event. Walk-ins or individuals who purchase tickets outside of Nashville Homeschool Calendar (contacting the venue directly) will not be accepted as part of the group. \n\n\n\nNo refunds available due to the short ticket sale window. Admin fees are non-refundable. \n\n\n\nBookings open May 8\, 2026 to Premium Members and May 16\, 2026 to Standard Members.

SUMMARY:Field Trip: Dollywood
DESCRIPTION:Details: \n\n\n\nWhat a fun way to take a break from the studies and enjoy a day at Dollywood. Our group has secured group rate tickets for Dollywood with a deal that you won’t want to pass up. Student tickets (ages 4-18) are $48\, adult tickets are $60\, and children 3 years and younger are free. The student tickets include a lunch voucher. These discounted tickets are a great deal when you consider regular price tickets for an adult are $95 per person plus tax and student tickets are $85 per person plus tax. \n\n\n\nThe lunch voucher can be redeemed in a few select restaurants (restaurants will be listed on the voucher) for a kid’s meal. If a student prefers an adult size meal\, they can use that voucher as an $8 credit to offset the cost of an adult meal. Dollywood does accommodate food allergies and offers a large selection of food options from quick grabs to sit down meals. Participants are encouraged to check out the many food options available. \n\n\n\nParking is NOT included in your ticket price. Parking is an added expense that participants should plan for. There are two options for parking at the park. General parking is $25 per vehicle for the day\, and Preferred parking is $55 per vehicle for the day. Participants are encouraged to secure your parking passes online ahead of time. Parking passes are good for the entire day. If a family chooses to leave the park and return later\, their parking pass will still be valid. The general parking terrain is flat and further away from the park door. However\, Dollywood offers a complementary shuttle to take people to and from their vehicles\, so they don’t have to walk if they don’t want to. The preferred parking is on a bit of slope (there is a slight incline in case that matters to anyone)\, is close to the entrance door\, is limited\, and participants can enter the park at a different entrance close by the main entrance. Additional details about parking can be found here. \n\n\n\nDollywood will open at 10am and close at 9pm. Families/students are welcome to remain at the park the entire time it is open\, or they may come and go as they please. Your tickets will be valid for the entire day\, allowing you flexibility in how you choose to participate. \n\n\n\nTickets will be distributed in Nashville to those families who secure them. I will provide several meeting locations\, dates\, and times between September 8th – 15th to connect with families and pass along your tickets ahead of time. I will NOT be meeting with families on the day of the trip in front of the park to distribute tickets. Tickets are non-refundable or replaceable. Families should treat their tickets like money. Be sure to put them in a safe place and don’t forget to bring them with you when you leave for Pigeon Forge. \n\n\n\nWithout knowing what the weather will be like on the day of the trip\, you may want to bring a jacket or sweatshirt. You will likely need additional money for food and souvenirs. \n\n\n\nThere are rides for all ages at Dollywood. Some have height restrictions for the safety of those riding. Families are encouraged to review this information ahead of time. \n\n\n\nThe Harvest Festival will be taking place when we are there. More details about this can befound here. Additionally\, there will be shows and entertainment. However\, their fall schedule is not yet available to view as they are still working on those details. \n\n\n\nIf you have additional questions about Dollywood\, I encourage you to explore their website. \n\n\n\nTickets are on sale until 5 pm on August 28\, 2026\, unless they sell out sooner. There will be no late ticket purchases available. \n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\nDollywood \n\n\n\nRules & Regulations: \n\n\n\nEach individual attending this trip/event must have a ticket purchased directly from Nashville Homeschool Calendar by the ticket purchase deadline. \n\n\n\nRefunds are available until June 19\, 2026. After that date a member must find someone to take their place and coordinate those arrangements individually. If this occurs\, please notify Jennifer of the change. Admin fees are non-refundable. \n\n\n\nBookings open June 1\, 2026 to Premium Members & June 8\, 2026 to Standard Members

SUMMARY:Special Event: Urban Bush Women
DESCRIPTION:Details: \n\n\n\nTHIS IS RISK\, looks forward and back in celebrating four decades of operating at the vanguard of movement and social activism. THIS IS RISK takes the audience through intentional storytelling to the next space of collective brilliance. This energetically charged evening includes iconic works by Founder Jawole Willa Jo Zollar\, featuring live music\, including the return of Shelter\, a full performance of Batty Moves\, last performed in 2002\, and a new commission\, Contemplations on Legacy\, by long-time UBW collaborator and choreographer Vincent E. Thomas. \n\n\n\nURBAN BUSH WOMEN (UBW) is a groundbreaking Black women-led theatrical dance company and an agent for social change. Founded in 1984 by visionary choreographer Jawole Willa Jo Zollar\, UBW is an engine and amplifier for the stories of Black Women+. UBW combines radical performance\, deep engagement\, and ancestral knowledge from the African diaspora into a force that is urgent\, forward-looking\, and essential. UBW has defied expectations for 40 years. The very bodies of its founding members – Black women of various shapes and sizes – changed the landscape of who could be seen on stage as a dancer. The work placed the concerns of such women center stage. UBW embraces radical storytelling to activate societal transformation. Whether creating genre-defying work for the stage\, guiding the development of Black Women+ choreographers and producers\, organizing for justice through artmaking\, UBW is an innovator\, operating at the vanguard. \n\n\n\nThis performance will be taking place in the Polk Theater at TPAC.  Our group has been granted a group discounted rate for this performance. All seats are located in the orchestra level. There are three ticket options to choose from (based on location within the venue) Ticket A is $45 per ticket\, Ticket B is $34 per ticket\, and Ticket C is $23 per ticket. The more expensive tickets will be located closer to the stage within the orchestra level. This group pricing discount will save you money versus purchasing individually through the box office. This production is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. \n\n\n\nTickets must be picked up from Will Call/Box Office with a photo I.D. ideally no later than 30 minutes before the show starts. SUMMARY:Special Event: Churchill & Roosevelt
DESCRIPTION:Details: \n\n\n\nFrom the creators of Churchill comes a brand-new theatrical event that brings to life one of the most consequential meetings of the 20th century. CHURCHILL & ROOSEVELT: THE CHRISTMAS THAT SAVED THE WORLD tells the gripping story of December 1941\, when British Prime Minister Winston Churchill crossed the Atlantic to meet President Franklin D. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s romantic\, haunting\, and soaring score includes “The Music of the Night\,” “All I Ask of You\,” “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again\,” “Masquerade\,” and the iconic title song. It tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius known only as ‘The Phantom’ who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House. Mesmerized by the talents and beauty of a young soprano\, Christine\, The Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine’s love for Raoul\, The Phantom’s obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy\, madness\, and passions collide. \n\n\n\nThis performance will be taking place in the Andrew Jackson Hall at TPAC.  Our group has been granted a student group discounted rate for this performance. There are two ticket options available. Ticket A is located in the middle Tier for $70 per ticket. Ticket B is located in the middle/rear Tier for $55 per ticket. SUMMARY:Special Event: Beetlejuice
DESCRIPTION:Details: \n\n\n\nHe earned his stripes on Broadway… now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to Nashville. \n\n\n\nIt’s showtime! Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film\, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz\, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book and a score that’s out of this Netherworld\, BEETLEJUICE is “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under\, to be exact)\, it’s a remarkably touching show about family\, love\, and making the most of every Day-O! \n\n\n\nThis performance will be taking place in the Andrew Jackson Hall at TPAC.  Our group has been granted a student group discounted rate for this performance. There are two ticket options available. Ticket A is located in the middle Tier for $45 per ticket. Ticket B is located in the middle/rear Tier for $34 per ticket.
